How long does the booking process take?

Hosts have 24 hours to officially accept or decline reservations. You’ll be updated by email about the status of your request.

More than half of all reservation requests are accepted within two hours of being received. The vast majority of hosts reply within 12 hours.

If a host confirms your request, your payment is processed and collected by Paypal in full. If a host declines your request or the request expires, we don’t process your payment.

What is a FlightHut Crew car?

The host provides a car for flight crew to use for transportation from airport to FlightHut listing. Hosts also can create rules for FlightHut crew cars and allow their guests to use them for leisure. 

Does FlightHut run background check on hosts?

Yes FlightHut is partnered with Token of Trust. A company that does background checks on our hosts in order to promote safety for our aviation employees. The background check takes place after they register and attempt to list their FlightHut housing.

In the event of Conflict for Flighthut host and guest how does Flighthut resolve the problem?

FlightHut does not tolerate bad behavior on our platform. We have consequences for those that go against our morals and values. Below are a list of offenses. All It takes is 3 complaints while under investigation, choosing negative points against them to be revoked as a FlightHut host.

Are hosts able to use SkyPals?

No, hosts are not able to use SkyPals. SkyPals feature is only for aviation employees and affiliate users.

Should FlightHut guests have personal insurance for FlightHut crew cars usage? 

Yes may want to consider It in order to protect yourself and your car. Think about your FlightHut guest having their own personal insurance to use your car. 

What kind of insurance should FlightHut guests seek if they decided to use a FlightHut crew car?

FlightHut guests should look at getting non owner insurance and the host should have a full coverage car.

What “non owner type of insurance” are recommended for FlightHut guests using FlightHut hosts crew cars?

What is non owner insurance ?

Non owner insurance protects bodily injury of the driver and the car of the person you got into an accident with. The car owner should consider having full insurance.

Booking Questions

What is a hot bed?

A shared bed. Multiple people can sleep in bed. The bed will not be specifically assigned to a person. More so for people who maybe choose a weekly option or by day. 

What is a cold bed? 

A bed that is solely yours. More people will have this option if they are choosing a month to month payment. 

How do I find my reservation?

More than half of all reservation requests are accepted within two hours of being received. The vast majority of hosts reply within 12 hours.

How do I check the status of my reservation?

 Click on Dashboard then reservations, to find reservation details and status.

Help on your reservations

What happens if my host cancels my reservation?

If your reservation is canceled by your host, we’ll automatically give you a full refund. You’ll receive an email confirming the full refund, with a link to check on the status. Find out more about our Guest Refund Policy and when you’ll get your refund. You can always contact us if you need further help.

What should I do if I forgot something at a place I stayed?

If you left something behind at a place you stayed, message your host directly for help. If you need to have an item sent to you, you can send your host money to cover the shipping cost directly through our Resolution Center.
